Summary

These competitively awarded grants are available to community organizations within the bay watershed for projects that address restoration and education priorities. This community-driven funding program stimulates environmental stewardship and science literacy among those who reside in and visit the region. Projects supporting the following actions will be prioritized for funding encourage habitat enhancement along altered waterfront properties, development of educational products or programs that encourage best management practices for mangrove planting and/or trimming. The maximum award is $5,000 per project. Schools, governments, nonprofits, and businesses are eligible to apply. Applications are accepted between July and September each year.
